Dunedins selected in Stereophile's '2009 Records To Die For'
"This performance...grips you by the ears."
After being nominated in 2018 Dunedin Consort has now won a 2021 Royal Philharmonic Society award! They received the Ensemble Award for casting exciting new light on historic music. The RPS commented: "Scotland’s Dunedin Consort have blazed with productivity and positivity this year. They keep finding ways to cast fresh light on Baroque traditions. There have been nationwide concerts, digital adventures for children, and Errollyn Wallen’s thrilling opera Dido’s Ghost. They even made headlines, commandeering a fishing boat to get safely home from performing in locked-down France."
Congratulations to John Butt and his Dunedin Consort for this wonderful award, which comes in the ensemble's 25th anniversary year.
