Anna Im Wins Prestigious Competition

The 2nd Stuttgart International Violin Competition was held on 19-26th February 2024, and we are delighted that violinist Anna Im was awarded the 1st prize. Anna's debut Linn album Rêverie, part of the Royal Academy of Music Bicentenary Series, will be released on April 19.

The competition, which is open to international violinists aged 28 and younger, took place at the Concert Hall of the HMDK Stuttgart. Anna beat fellow finalists Matthew Hakkarainen, Ruslan Talas and Xiazhuo Wang to take the top prize. As a result of this important win Anna will benefit from several important concert engagements, the loan of a 1746 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin, and artist management for the next three years.
