Gramophone Awards Shortlist Announced
Congratulations to all the artists who have been shortlisted for a 2022 Gramophone Award! Ahead of the results being announced you can discover many of these recordings in Studio Master:
- Echoes of an Old Hall by Gothic Voices is nominated in the Early Music category
- Brahms: String Sextets by Belcea Quartet, Tabea Zimmermann & Jean-Guihen Queyras is nominated in the Chamber category
- Bach: 'Meins Lebens Licht' Cantata BWV 45-198 & Motet BWV 118 by Philippe Herreweghe Collegium Vocale Gent is nominated in the Choral category
- Lully, Charpentier & Desmarets: Passion by Véronique Gens & Ensemble Les Surprises is nominated in the Voice & Ensemble category
- Dissonance by Asmik Grigorian & Lukas Geniušas is nominated in the Song category
From the complete list of celebrated recordings, an album will be chosen as the winner in each of the 11 recording categories, and from that shortlist, a single album will be named 'Recording of the Year’ on October 4.
