The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary in 2023 and a new recording with its popular Principal Conductor Maxim Emelyanychev. Discover the compilation released to celebrate its fortieth featuring Sir Charles Mackerras, Robin Ticciati and Joseph Swensen, as well as the widely acclaimed debut recording by Maxim of Schubert’s Ninth.
2023 also marks Rachmaninov’s 150th anniversary and you can enjoy recordings of his vocal, instrumental, and orchestral repertoire thanks to Gramophone Award-winner Asmik Grigorian, Jacques Imbrailo, Anna Geniushene and Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.
