LinnRecords.com To Close On 28 February 2025
After pioneering high-resolution digital music with our own download website, LinnRecords.com will close on 28 February 2025. To ensure our catalogue remains available in the highest sound quality, Linn Records has chosen Qobuz as the first platform to host our complete collection in high resolution (24-bit/up to 192kHz).
When LinnRecords.com was conceived in 2007, its aim was to make high-resolution Studio Master downloads available to as many people as possible. By demonstrating that high-resolution downloads were not only possible, but also that digital consumers showed an enormous appetite for audio excellence, Linn Records was able to lead by example and encourage others in the music industry to focus on offering the best sound on their own platforms. Now in 2025, high-resolution music is not only widely available to download, but also to stream, and we are happy to have played our part.
As the first platform to offer both streaming and downloads in high resolution and also be fully integrated with Linn’s high-performance Network Music Players, Qobuz has been chosen as Linn Records’ trusted partner for this closure. Launched in the same year as LinnRecords.com, Qobuz shares the same vision of providing an exceptional listening experience making it the ideal partner for this new chapter. Qobuz is the first platform to offer the complete Linn Records catalogue in high resolution (24-bit/up to 192kHz), with new releases available from today. Visit Qobuz.
You can already find all of Linn Records' discs and LPs at Outhere Music, and all good retailers. Visit Outhere Music.
