Ticciati & SCO Win 2015 Edison Classic Award

Congratulations to Robin Ticciati and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for beating the competition to win the 'Discovery' category at the 2015 Edison Classic Awards for their landmark recording Schumann: The Symphonies.

The jury stated: 

'The young British conductor Robin Ticciati demonstrates his capabilities to quickly switch between Schumann's nervous energy and lilting lyricism.

Ticciati conjures a flexible, and at the same time, beautifully saturated sound from his eminent Scottish orchestra.

With these fond interpretations Schumann debutant Robin Ticciati climbs at once to the top of the Schumann discography.
