Born in Stockholm, Daniel Fredriksson started to play music at the age of fifteen. At first drawn to David Bowie, heavy metal and hip hop, he then moved to jazz when he was seventeen. He has performed with many great artists such as Joey Calderazzo, Lee Konitz, Jason Marsalis and Carlos Garnett.
