2022 York Early Music International Young Artists Competition Winner Announced

Congratulations to Protean Quartet, winners of the 2022 York Early Music International Young Artists Competition and a recording contract with Linn. The prize-winning programme 'Tempus omnia vincit,' featured Mille Regretz by Josquin des Prez and the "Rosamunde" String Quartet by Franz Schubert. 

The panel of judges comprised Linn Records' chief producer Philip Hobbs, Head of Music at BBC Radio 3 Edward Blakeman, Concertgebouw Brugge's Albert Edelman, violinist Catherine Mackintosh (AAM, OAE) and Barbara Maria Willi, keyboardist and Director of Studies of the EEEmerging+ (Emerging European Ensembles) scheme.
