Dubois is an incredibly tasteful singer and I can’t imagine any other tenor of today being as stylish an advocate for these unknown scores. Pierre Dumoussaud draws classy playing from the Orchestre National de Lille. Lovers of rare French repertoire will already be Bru Zane devotees and this album offers a treasure chest of little tenor gems.
