Busch Trio - Dvořák: Piano Trios, Op. 65 & 90 "Dumky" - The Sunday Times

The young Busch Trio – called after the great Adolf Busch, whose Guadagnini the violinist Mathieu van Bellen plays – give a powerful account of the F minor. Their Dumky is unusually broad and, arguably, a little lacking in Bohemian spirit. The wonderful, yearning third movement is more adagio than andante, and the fourth even slower. Yet it sounds so beautiful that criticism is silenced. The musicians – van Bellen, Ori Epstein (cello), Omri Epstein (piano) – play as one.
