Andrew West was pianist-in-residence at Lancaster University from 1993-99 and is now a professor of piano accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music. Emma Bell also studied at the Royal Academy of Music. Her awards include the Promis Award, The Richard Lewis Award and the 1998 Kathleen Ferrier Award. She was made a BBC New Generations Artists in 2002, is a frequent broadcaster and has given recitals in the Bath, Buxton and Brighton festivals.
