Deliciously transparent performance and recording from the Zurich Tonhalle-Orchester conducted by Paavo Järvi. There's lightness in there the wind solos in the slow movement are as heartbreaking as they ought to be and the finale really delivers all the passion you could want. It comes with a beautifully balanced performance of the Symphony No. 2, the "Little Russian", with a really good feel for the folk influences.
