Tears of the Angels has shimmering violin, sometimes ecstatic in feel despite the title, against a string ensemble Depart in Peace adds soprano and tampura to the line-up, and mixes what sound like Balkan folk elements with the more familiar spiritual style. My Gaze Is Ever Upon You is for solo violin and tape. First-rate performances.
