Reviews
'You can also simply marvel at the vocal breadth and the naturalness with which Prohaska plunges into the German, English and French world of songs ... Fortunately, in Julius Drake she has a pianist at her side who is no less musically well educated.'
Rondo
'It’s a maddening, fascinating and often bewitching disc.'
BBC Music Magazine
'Another stunner from soprano Anna Prohaska...It’s all beautifully planned and paced.'
The Guardian
'The disc’s principal pleasures, however, lie in the rarities, where we also find Prohaska at her most beguiling…Antonini contributes some exquisite flute and recorder obbligatos, and the orchestral playing has great fluency and charm throughout.'
