CD of the Week for Beethoven Piano Concertos

'Beethoven Piano Concertos 3, 4 & 5' by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Sir Charles Mackerras and Artur Pizarro has been chosen as CD of the Week on Classic FM. The disc is featured on the Classic FM website and tracks will be played daily on Simon Bates' show. Classic FM's Executive Producer, Sam Jackson, also talks about the release in his New Releases Blog. He comments: "Artur's a fine pianist...His performances of Beethoven's final three piano concertos really demonstrate how radical Beethoven was".
