Florian Boesch Wins Award

Tonight at London's Kings Place, Florian Boesch was named the winner of a 2019 BBC Music Magazine Award.

Florian's recording of Schumann’s Op. 39, Liederkreis and Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen triumphed in the Vocal category. Florian sent his thanks via video since he is currently rehearsing in Vienna. Linn Records' producer Philip Hobbs was in London to accept the award on his behalf. Thank you to everyone who voted for him to win.
