The Marian Consort - Una poesia muta - BBC Radio 3 'Record Review'
They have designed a captivating sequence to this album which includes choral music, secular songs with lute, a scattering of solo lute as well. French church music was in vogue in early 16th century Venice, Jean Mouton is among the composers here. Everything's sung with characteristic warmth and musicality and it makes me want to see the exhibition it is supporting.
