Aldeburgh Strings and Winds - R. Strauss: Metamorphosen - BBC Radio 3 'Record Review'

They also turn in a fine performance of the much later Symphony for wind instruments, Strauss’ 'happy workshop' from his Indian summer from the mid-1940’s, their fellow artists Aldeburgh Strings meanwhile bring us its haunting contemporary Strauss’s Metamorphosen. It’s a fine recording.
